Maintaining highly secure office and computer facilities with limited access to only employees and other authorized parties who “need to know” consumer information,

Lasill Enterprises may collect and use your personal information to respond to your requests for our debt management services or to provide you with information about products or services that may be of value to you.

Certain personal information Lasill Enterprises collects about you may be publicly available through government records, telephone books, and other widely available media such as the internet. Under the law, Lasill Enterprises is not required to protect such publicly available information unless it is a list, description, or grouping derived from using personal information that is not publicly available.

Lasill Enterprises collects the personal information you provide to us when you:

Use our credit counseling planning tools
Apply to participate in our credit counseling program
Contact Lasill Enterprises with a question or suggestion
Credit Counseling Planning Tools

When you use our credit counseling planning tools, we collect information including your email address, your phone number, your state, your debt amount, your interest rate(s), and your debt payment amounts. We use this information to provide you with email and telephone communications tailored to address your financial situation.

Application to participate in our credit counseling program

In order to process your credit counseling program application, we collect information including your name, address, social security number, credit card, loan account numbers, other debt information, and budget information such as your income and expenses.

Inquiry Information

In order to address and research consumer concerns, Lasill Enterprises may need to collect personal information from consumers in order to ensure that consumer concerns are resolved. This information is not shared with third parties unless consumers consent or Lasill Enterprises is required to provide the information by law. See below.

2. Information collected from other sources

As stated in your agreement with Lasill Enterprises, we may also collect information about you from the following sources:

Consumer reporting agencies:

We may receive information regarding your credit history from a consumer reporting agency. We use this information to assist you with your credit counseling program. We also use this information to explain to you how potential creditors view your credit history so that you may rectify any mistakes made by past and current creditors, and so that you can make the most informed decisions possible when you approach your finances in the future. We only request a copy of your credit report once we have your written permission.

Please Note: Lasill Enterprises does not share with credit reporting agencies that you are participating in Lasill Enterprises's credit counseling program. Occasionally, your creditors, who have accepted your credit counseling proposals, may report this relationship to credit reporting agencies.

Outside sources:

We may receive information regarding your debts from creditors and other entities that have relationships with you and your creditors. Lasill Enterprises uses this information to verify representations that you and your creditors make, such as payments that you have made, payments that have not been credited to your account, and other correspondence that you have received from your creditors currently participating in your credit counseling program through Lasill Enterprises

3. Technical Information and Third Party Advertisements

Lasill Enterprises affiliates track website traffic when consumers actually decide to enter Lasill Enterprises’s website and complete a form showing their interest in Lasill Enterprises’s services. Lasill Enterprises does allow third party affiliates to use pop up advertising technology that is reflected on your computer screen upon your exiting of our website. Lasill Enterprises does not track a consumer’s decision to enter a specific portion of Lasill Enterprises’s website.

4. You may Opt-Out (ask that we not contact you about other products and/or share your information)

Does Lasill Enterprises share my personal information with third parties?

  Lasill Enterprises may share your personal information with third parties unless you opt-out of information sharing. You may consider it beneficial for us to forward your information to another financial institution that may be able to help you in the event another product may better meet your needs. You may find this convenient since it means that you may not need to search for another program.

With companies involved in the credit counseling process.

During the credit counseling process, we communicate with your creditors either already participating in your credit counseling program or with whom you have asked us to seek participation in your credit counseling program. All such companies are required by law to adhere to federal and state privacy regulations.

With companies that perform services on our behalf.

We use service providers to assist us with specific processes and functions such as processing payments and distributing emails received by us. We require the service providers we use to sign business agreements that restrict the use of your information to fulfilling the contracted service.

As required by law.

We may need to share your information with law enforcement or government agencies in response to a subpoena, state/federal audit or other similar circumstances.

Other companies.

The Lasill Enterprises website may link you to the websites of other companies that offer services that may be of interest to you. Lasill Enterprises cannot guarantee the privacy standards of these other companies. These companies do not obtain any specific information about you or your transaction on the   Lasill enterprises website. You may also access the Lasill Enterprises website form another company’s website. We may collect web traffic statistics from you and other consumer’s web browsers, and we may share this aggregated information with outside companies to assist them with assessing the effectiveness of their website content. No personal information is shared in this aggregated information.

Can I opt-out of communications from  Lasill Enterprises?

Occasionally, Lasill Enterprises may provide you with communications about other services and products that we may provide to you. Lasill Enterprises provides you with the opportunity to opt-out of communications that offer such products and services.

Can I access my information?

We provide you with the ability to view, and if necessary update and correct information that we maintain about you in our systems. You may view your current payments to Lasill Enterprises and Lasill Enterprises's payments on your behalf to your creditors. If you request paper copies of your payments, we will send you a paper copy. You may request a change or update to the information in your file by contacting Client Services at (866) 452-7455.

How does Lasill Enterprises safeguard my personal information?

 Lasill Enterprises uses a variety of security safeguards to protect your information from loss, misuse, alteration, or destruction. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect your information. For example, you will only be able to access information regarding your debt management plan by submitting the user name and password you created during registration. All online transactions require user authentication, and our website is protected by firewalls.

 Lasill Enterprises facilities may only be accessed by authorized personnel via security codes and other devices. We audit and review security controls on a regular basis. We provide access to your information to Lasill Enterprises employees and other authorized parties on a “need to know” basis. In addition, we require that all employees sign a pledge to protect the privacy of consumers and customers who contact Lasill Enterprises.

Is my information being stored?

From time to time, federal and state agencies require that Lasill Enterprises provide demographic and consumer credit counseling information to them. We maintain electronic and hard copy application and payment information for this purpose.

Will this privacy policy change?

To accommodate changes on the website, changing technology, legal and business developments, Lasill Enterprises may change its Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you in writing of significant changes to our information privacy practices, and will prominently post the current version of the Privacy Policy at the Lasill Enterprises website. Unless we obtain your consent, we will handle your information according to the Privacy Policy in place when we initially collected information from you.
